The Grey-Throated Barbet in Uganda is one of the African Uganda bird species seen during a Uganda birding tour.
This colorful bird belongs to the Lybiidae family and, though small, is considered large among barbets—measuring 20–25 cm in length and weighing between 45–75 grams.

How Does the Grey-throated Barbet in Uganda Feed?

Grey-throated barbets typically nest in tree cavities. From 2-4 eggs are laid by the female, incubation in done by both adults for about 13-15 days. Both adults are responsible for parental care of their chicks.
